Welcome to V2 Baked Vegan Bakery! I am the woman behind the magic here, a 2015 Graduate of the International Baking and Pastry program from Lincoln Culinary Institute, President's List in West Palm Beach, Florida. 

 

My family migrated to the US from Cuba and brought with them the culture of traditional Cuban cuisine, I was privileged to be by my grandfather's side as his little helper in the kitchen as a child. Our time together nurtured my love for food, I love creating amazing meals for my family and friends, and feeding others brings me immense joy. 

I am blessed to be the mother to 7 amazing kids, one of whom is differently abled and medically complex. My children are my greatest gift and accomplishment. 

I transitioned to Veganism in 2017, it was the path I was intuitively guided to take and it has been the most rewarding experience, I cannot imagine living my life and not being vegan. It has been so rewarding to share amazing food that has been made with love and compassion. 

I appreciate quality in every aspect of my life, I strive to provide an excellent customer service experience and amazing products. The best part is seeing the joy our products bring to others and even more rewarding is when they find it hard to believe our cakes and pastries are vegan. It's a testament that you don't have to sacrifice to choose cruelty-free and compassionate eating.

  • Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
    We are NOT a nut, soy or gluten free kitchen, however we do have many clients with food allergies and we do our best to prevent cross contamination but please be aware that we do use soy, gluten and nuts in our kitchen. If you or your guests have allergies it is critical that you notify us prior to placing your order. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will do our best to try and accommodate them. We understand and try our best to accomodate dietary restrictions to the best ouf our ability.
  • Cake Pricing Explained
    A few things to consider before you order a Custom Cake, Pastries or Desserts. Anything that is custom made is going to cost more! Commercial Cakes, Pastries and Desserts are NOT the same as Custom Gourmet Cakes, Pastries and Desserts. When you order a cake it’s not just cake! It’s time, it’s talent, it is art and expertise. It is taking your idea, your vision, and bringing it to life with skill and dedication. It is freshness and quality, pastries baked from scratch or frostings and fillings made fresh for you. It is NOT made in mass production and frozen or stored for months. It is supplies, tools (lots and lots of them) and equipment. It is utilities like electricity, gas and water. It is taxes and licensure and insurance. It is time and passion. Passion for creating and a love and dedication to the craft! Custom Cakes, Pastries and Desserts, take time and an acquired set of skills. What you get most of all is Love.
  • Cake Replica and Copyright
    All designs provided by V2 Baked, are our sole property and cannot be sold or transferred to another baker without our written approval. We cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artist’s work but will ensure the look is similar with a final design that will be unique. We will make every effort to provide exactly the details you have requested but please keep in mind that the creation of a cake is an art and may be subject to slight variations and/or errors by the creator(s), including colors.

  • Cake Set-up
    A stable and level surface at least four feet off the ground is where a cake should be set up. Cakes are safest when they are displayed against a wall. Once the cake has been delivered and set up, the care and condition of the cake becomes the clients responsibility. V2 Baked Vegan Bakery is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter, including someone bumping the table, a stand or table breaking or collapsing, child damage, or any other possible causes or environmental affects that may damage the cake. Humidity and heat can adversely affect your cake, espcially here in Florida. In the warmer months, it is recommended the cake be kept in air conditioning or, at the very least, a cool area. Cakes should never be displayed in direct sunlight or anywhere sunlight might eventually move. Please prepare a back-up plan in case of inclement weather. Determine someplace safe where the cake can be displayed indoors on exceedingly hot days or in case of rain. Fondant covered cakes sweat from the heat, it is sugar after all. Caked covered in fondant or fondant embellishments can become shiny and the colors can possibly run due to the heat and humidity. It is strongly recommended that cakes being picked up by the customer be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle and if you transport it, you are responsible for any damage once it leaves our possession. You acknowledge that V2 Baked Vegan Bakery is in no way responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions or outdoor locations including heat, humidity or insects or human error.
  • Cake Tastings
    Cake tastings are available for events of 50 guests or more and there is a $100 session fee. The tasting session includes up to four flavor samples for up to four guests, additional guests require a $26 per person fee. ​ Tastings should be scheduled no less than 12 weeks prior to your event date to allow sufficient time to coordinate and finalize your order. Tasting sessions can last anywhere from one to two hours depending on the number of attendees and number of details that may need to be discussed. Basic information pertaining to your event such as the event theme, colors and design will be discussed in detail so that a quote could be provided to you within 3 Days. ​ Everyone is endowed with their own unique creativity, we ask that you bring anything that you may have as inspiration for your cake that reflects your event theme (s) such as colors, fabric samples, photos, invitations, etc. We cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artist’s work but will ensure the look is similar with a final design that will be unique.   • Cancellations and Refunds
    All orders require payment in advance. An order is not confirmed until payment has been received. We reserve the right to cancel scheduled orders if payment is not received on time. An initial non-refundable deposit is required to secure a cake or event order. Deposits are non-refundable unless you cancel at least sixty (60) days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after that date. We do not provide refunds, if you should have an issue with your order please contact us directly and we will do our best to resolve the situation.
  • Custom Cake Orders
    We only take a limited number of custom cake orders at a time, so booking your cake in advance is essential. Some cake details can take days or even weeks to create so having sufficient time to make your masterpiece is necessary, bringing your idea to life can be a lengthy process and takes time, dedication, and great attention to detail. Custom cakes are priced by servings, considering the cake flavors and design details. 2D Custom Cake pricing begins at $15.50 per slice, final pricing is based on the cake flavors, the number of servings, and design element details. 3D Custom Cake pricing starts at $20 per slice with a minimum order of $300; final pricing is based on the cake flavors, the number of servings, and design element details. If an order is placed within 10 days full payment is required at the time of the order, otherwise, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a date on the calendar, and the remaining balance is due 10 days before the order date. In order to provide you with a quote we will need various details for your order, each cake design is unique; therefore, the price of each cake varies considering the number of servings, cake and filling flavors, design elements, embellishment details, and the time it takes to create each work of art. All the little details are all critical aspects of the pricing convention. Deposits are non-refundable unless you cancel at least sixty (60) days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after that date.
  • Delivery and Pick up

If picking up a cake please be sure to place your cake on a flat surface in your vehicle, it is not recommended that cakes be held on the seat of a vehicle or in a persons lap as these are unstable surfaces.
  • Dessert Cake Orders
    Orders within 10 days require full payment at time of order, orders placed more than days in advance require a 25% non-refundable deposit with the balance due 10 days prior to order date. We cannot guarantee that we can accept your order as we book up quickly, that is why it is important to place your orders in advance whenever possible. Our dessert cakes are made up of 3 layers of cake and two layers of filling. You can customize your dessert cake with add-on's; extra toppings or fillings and custom cake toppers customization fees vary.
  • Do you have a store front?
    We do not have a store front as we are a licensed home-based bakery. We guarantee freshness so we do not keep prepared pastries on hand so we only bake to order. All orders must be submitted at least 7 days in advance, we may have weekly specials that you can purchase and we sell our products at some local Green Markets.
  • Events & Green Markets

  • How do I book a custom cake?
    Custom sculpted cakes and large event cakes should be booked at least 8 weeks in advance, but can be booked up to 1 year in advance. Cake orders submitted within 7 days are considered rush orders and may be subject to an additional rush order fee. It is recommended that you reserve your cake as soon as you have decided on a design. We only book a limited number of cakes per week so that we can give our utmost attention to the detail and design of every order. We cannot guarantee your reservation until a cake contract has been viewed and deposit has been received. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold your space on the calendar and the remaining balance is due 10 days before the order date.
  • Ingredients
    We are VEGAN which means we DO NOT USE any products in production that contain any animal derived ingredients such as animal milks, eggs, gelatin or butter etc. We value quality ingredients as this is what sets our pastries apart. We use unbleached unenriched flours., our main flour is: Unbleached hard red wheat flour, malted barley flour. Our Gluten Free Flour Blend: Whole grain oat flour, sweet white rice flour, whole grain brown rice flour, potato starch, whole grain sorghum flour, tapioca flour, xanthan gum. Our preferred fondant is our in house marshmallow fondant or Satin Ice which is vegan, gluten free, nut free, dairy free, soy free, trans fat free and Kosher.
  • Images & Media
    V2 Baked Vegan Bakery reserves the right to take and use our own photos of your cake/pastries/dessert(s) to use for marketing and promotional purposes, including advertising and promotional without your permission or compensation to you.
  • Order Timeline
    We accept orders online, via email or phone call. All Dessert cake and Pastry orders require a minimum of 7-days advance pre-ordering, failure to do so may result in order cancellation. Custom Cakes are based on availability, we recommend placing these orders as soon as possible with a minimum of 3-4 weeks advance.
  • Packaging
    In an effort to be as eco friendly and environmentally conscious as possible we use boxes paper bags, aluminum trays, glass jars, and plant based cellophane to package our pastries. We try to refrain from using plastic whenever possbile but when we do we try our best to use plant based recycled containers . If your pastries require storage in a sealed container we recommend you transfer them to your preffered container after purchase.
  • Payments
    We accept cash and payment viq Square our electronic processing system. You can place your orders online and submit payment at the time of order. If you place your order via email or phone call you will receive an electronic invoice to submit your payment through a secure payment processing site.
  • Sugar Free
    We do not make sugar-free cakes or pastries at this time.
